About

Grüezi! I'm Akhila Obilisetty. I'm pursuing a M.Sc. in Informatics at the University of Zurich, focusing on human-computer and human-AI interaction and collaboration.
Before moving to Zürich, I worked in the product management domain for four years, shipping web, mobile and SaaS products across diverse markets. That foundation shapes my approach to designing and developing products: user-centric and iterative.
Today, I work on my start-up, ResearchReach, contribute to projects at ETH Zurich and UZH, and pursue my diverse interests in tech and beyond.

Beyond work
I am interested in health and well-being, having previously worked as a fitness coach. I like to dance salsa and bachata as a way to unwind. I'm a big fan of underground hip-hop (looking forward to attending the RedBull Dance Your Style World Final in Zurich this year!). I like to read, constantly switching between crime/psychological thrillers and realistic fiction. Currently reading Shadow Sands by Robert Bryndza.
